My School DC EdFest Showcases the Cities Education Options

My School DC Education Festival (EdFEST) comes to the DC Armory on Saturday, November 22, 2014 from 11 a.m. -  3 p.m.

In its sixth year, EdFEST presents DC’s many public education options (PK3 through 12th grade) for families and their children, showcasing more of the city’s public schools (both traditional public and public charter) than ever before.

Meet representatives from more than 175 DCPS and public charter schools.
 
Learn, first hand, about each school’s programs and services, including special education and services for English Language Learners (ELLs).
 
Learn about My School DC, the online common lottery, and get a hands-on introduction to the lottery process from My School DC staff.
 
Explore social and educational programs from city agencies and enjoy recreational activities for all – so bring the whole family!
 
Interpretation in sign language, Spanish, Amharic, Mandarin, Vietnamese, and French will be available throughout the day.

Admission and parking is free. The DC Armory is accessible via metrorail : Stadium-Armory on the Orange/Blue/Silver lines.
